An NVA field service uniform field jacket (FDU) summer. Several years of production and variations available, but all from the seventies and eighties (see pictures).

The jackets from the seventies still have the grained plastic buttons on the sleeve pockets, where they are hidden from the eighties. Likewise, only the jackets from the seventies have slanted pockets in the abdominal area.
